1. Stock Availability

Some items may not be in stock at the time of placing order. One of our teams will contact the purchaser within 48 hours to confirm delivery time and stock availability. Waiting times for goods can vary from 1-2 days and up until 6-8 weeks in rare cases. Any such delays will be advised.

2. Price

  • Prices appearing in any of the seller’s price lists shall not bind the seller until the order placed by the purchaser(s) has been accepted by the seller at the price stated therein or as otherwise notified by the seller to the purchaser(s).
  • All prices are subject to change without notice except that prices will remain firm for orders already placed and accepted by the seller.
  • In this paragraph, “GST” means goods and services tax, or similar value added tax levied or imposed in Australia pursuant to the GST law or otherwise on a supply. “GST” Act means A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth). To the extent that any supply made under or in connection with this Agreement is a taxable supply, the recipient of that supply must, at the same time as payment is required to be made for the taxable supply, pay to the supplier an additional amount equal to the GST payable on or for the taxable supply. The party which makes the supply must provide to the recipient of that supply a GST tax invoice as required by any relevant legislation.
  • Prices quoted by the seller are exclusive of all taxes, duties, and other government charges. Any such taxes, duties or charges which are applicable to an order shall be calculated by the seller added to the invoices amount and shall be payable by the purchaser(s).
  • Prices listed in www.refrigerationconnect.com.au are ex-warehouse and do not include freight and other costs associated with delivery of the goods to the purchaser(s), which costs unless specifically agreed to otherwise between the seller and the purchaser(s), shall be for the account of the purchaser(s).
  • Any discounts, settlement allowances or other rebates must be specifically agreed to by the seller to be valid and effective.

3. Payment

Property of the equipment’s supplied by Refrigeration Connect (“the seller”) does not pass to the buyer until the goods are paid for in full. The purchaser(s) will hold any proceeds received for the purchase of the equipment’s in trust for the seller, until the goods have been paid for in full.

A 50% deposit is required to place an official order with Refrigeration Connect if goods are not in stock and must be ordered in. If items are ready for immediate dispatch, then payment is required in full in advance before any items are shipped including any freight charges.

When paying by Credit Card, all details including the CCV number are required in online transactions. Please be informed that, all payment processed with credit cards will attract 1.5% surcharge.
All prices in www.refrigerationconnect.com.au are plus shipping and packaging costs plus GST, if applicable (applies to all purchases in Australia). Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

4. Cancellations

  • a) We cannot accept any cancellation for non-stocked equipment.
  • b) If the equipment is a stocked item, cancellation must be received at least one day prior to shipping.

Cancellation cannot occur on the day that goods are dispatched or already collected by the carrier. This will not be accepted as sufficient cancellation notice and the purchaser(s) will be liable to take the goods. A cancellation fee will apply being a minimum of 20% of the purchase price for any goods incorrectly ordered.

5. Returns & Refunds

A 25% restocking fee applies to any goods returned.
Returns will not be accepted unless prior authorization is received from an office of Refrigeration Connect (“seller”) Therefore, a Return Authority Number (RTN) must be obtained. All goods must be returned within 10 days of date of delivery unless agreed to otherwise by the seller in writing and must be freight prepaid and have original invoice and authorization officer quoted.
A Return Authority Number includes the following information:

  • Your Order number if known (appears on the top of the confirmation email)
  • Your company name/name, and contact details, ie: phone & fax numbers, and address.
  • A description of the item you are returning.

Returns and claims will not be accepted after 14 days of delivery.
If you wish to exchange it for a different item, please include the name and item number of the replacement item.

6. Warranty

All items are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty. These terms are listed for each individual item on the website. Smaller items may be a back-to-base warranty. Please read carefully when purchasing item. Warranty DOES NOT COVER ANY PERISHABLE PRODUCTS lost due to the fault of any item sold. If an item is out of warranty, then the purchaser(s) is liable to pay any further charges incurred after the date of expiration. Warranty can be voided if purchaser(s) tamper, alter or have another 3rd party repair any faults that may occur during the period of warranty without prior written approval from the manufacturer. If this is the case, the purchaser(s) will be fully responsible for the item once the warranty is voided.

7. Damaged Goods

If an item is received and is damaged or faulty in any way, you should immediately notify Refrigeration Connect by phone or email listing your contact’s name, address, phone number our invoice number and details of the fault and what is wrong with the item. The manufacturer will be contacted immediately in order to rectify any faults. Any delivery dockets or consignment notes must be kept and also submitted to Refrigeration Connect for claims against transport companies. It may be necessary to forward photographs by form of email or post for any items sent interstate in order to assess damage to goods.

8. Insurance

Insurance for goods in transit is excluded in the purchase price. However, it is added on with Freight Costs. If insurance is required, please notify Refrigeration Connect immediately prior submitting a purchase as a quotation will need to be arranged before shipping.

9. Acceptance of Sale
